Event Planning

Today I threw my baby sister a Bachelorette Brunch!

I put together some fun signs for stops to make along the way to the kitchen. We had our guest write a "recipe for a successful marriage" on cooking spoons. Then they had to share their favorite memory on a card, which was read to the group later for a prize.

For food, we had "girl food" as my husband would say. Cranberry Pecan Coffee Cake, a Yogurt bar, and fruit. This is not the greatest picture, but here ya go:

We played a memory game with bridal sayings and candy bars:

The Groom - Big Hunk
Wedding Night - Skor
Father of the Bride - Sugar Daddy
The Bride - Hot Tamales
Honeymoon - Good and Plenty
The Reception - 100 Grand
The First Year - Rocky Road
Honeymoon Baby - Baby Ruth
The Parents - Lifesavers
Reception Departure - Fast Break
Wedding Gifts - Mounds
The Brides Honeymoon Cry - O'Henry

On their way out the could choose a nail polish in one of the brides wedding colors. We had a great time and I loved throwing this little party for my sweet sister.
